Xiaomi set to launch Mi Band 5

The next Mi Band is in the works and it has been in the discussion for few months. The Company has made an announcement that the product is scheduled to go official on 11 June in China.

As per the model, the display is still a mystery, with only rumored pictures available on the Internet. The rumor reveals that the new Mi Band 5 will have the same model as Mi Band 4 with major Upgrades.

According to the poster, the shape of the home button has changed along with the presence of 1.2 inch OLED display. Xiaomi has mentioned that with various features the Band will also feature enhanced SpO2 sensor for Blood Oxygen level detection and also have the NFC support but the version will only be available for overseas areas. 

Xiaomi Mi Band 5 will provide 11 professional sports mode to the users. Also, there will be the presence of dedicated sensor for measuring Stress and Breathing activity. The model also has an Amazon Alexa voice assistant support. The new Band 5 could also be featured with a remote camera function through which you can control the smartphone camera.

It's also speculated that the Mi Band 5 will have the USB plug-in charge support through a built in connector. The device strap color is available in yellow, red, blue and black. The report suggests that Mi Band 5 can cost up to 175 Yuan (about Rs, 1800)
