Honor Launches budget Smartphones

The brand Honor has launched three new budget smartphones under 9 series in Russia called Honor 9S, 9A and 9C. Among this three the Honor 9S is the most affordable phone of this series.

It supports 5.45 inch Display with HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the phone is powered by MediaTek helio P22 chipset paired with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The device packs with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage that can further expandable up to 512 GB via dedicated microSD card slot. 

In terms of camera the Honor 9S features a single 8 MP camera on the rear with f/2.0 aperture and at the front, it has 5 MP selfie camera. As per the software the handset turn on Android 10 based on Magic 3.1 skin on the top and it comes equipped by 3020 mAh battery.

The connectivity option on the phone include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5 mm headphone jack and a micro USB charging port. The physical dimensions of the device measures by 146.55 mm x 70.94 mm x 8.35 mm and it weights around 144 g.

The Honor 9S is priced at Russia at RUB 6,990 (approx INR 7000). The smartphone will go on sale from 4 May 2020 in Russia in Black, Blue and Red color options.  There is no information currently available if these budget phones will be launched in other international markets including India.
