Google set to launch Pixel 4a soon

Nowadays smartphones are very expensive, but there is still a very large market for budget phones and $399 seems to be like a magic price point for a good mid-level device that has lot of fundamental features. Last year Google released Pixel 3a at $399 which were very similar to their Flagship, this year Google set to launch Pixel 4a at same price of Pixel 3a, somewhere around 22nd May in select markets

Google Pixel 4a is a black variant, the phone covered in poly carbonate and unlike its more premium counterpart the Pixels 4a has a punch hole selfie camera in the top left corner of the display. Comparing it to the Pixel 4 the forehead is smaller but the rest of the bazels may slightly larger in Pixel 4a.

The punch hole in the Pixel 4a include 8 MP selfie camera and this does has image stabilization included. When it comes to display we get a 5.81 inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2314. The rumor is that Pixel 4a has 90 Hz display but it's been confirm to run on 60 Hz only. There is no mention of the actual screen protection but it could be the same as Dragon tell Glass we saw in it's predecessor.

When its comes to the rear of the phone, we get same square camera bump in the top left corner but unlike its premium, the Pixel 4a only has a single camera along with the LED flash. The camera is however a 12 MP sensor capable of 4K video recording with the image stabilization.

Another noticable difference is that the Pixel 4a has a physical fingerprint scanner on the rear while many may have wanted an in display fingerprint scanner. Pixel 4a is powered by the Snapdragon 730 on the chip while not a flagship chipset. It comes with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, it's still unknown that there is also going to be 128 GB version. The phone is powered by 3080 mAh battery capacity and it comes shipped with Android 10.

The Google Pixel 4a was to be announced in May 2020 at Google event but with all major tech events at the moment, it may be cancelled due to a recent outbreak.
