Apple launches second generation iPhone SE

Good news for iPhone users. Apple has launched second-generation iPhone SE, which looks almost exactly like the iPhone 8, and is aimed at users who want a smaller smartphone and Apple brand at affordable prices.

The device comes in a compact design and is the most affordable iPhone now in the market. Its design is based on A13 Bionic, the fastest chip in smartphones (available also in iPhone 11 & iPhone 11 Pro), which provides great performance to every task.

The device comes with an aerospace-grade aluminum and durable glass design with an all-black front. It is water and dust resistant with an IP 67 rating. It has 4.7 inches Retina HD display which offers amazing color accuracy with 2nd generation Touch ID and next-generation smart HDR. Charging is fast and wireless. The Camera on this device is upgraded and now supports 12 MP f/1.8 sensor, which means that picture quality should be good. Whats more the phone supports wireless and fast charging, though out of box the phone wont come with fast charger.

It is available in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB of storage. However, Apple did not disclose the features related to RAM and Battery Capacity. According to one of the China Telecom Website, the new iPhone SE consists of 3GB RAM and 1,821 mAh Battery capacity. Apple website suggests that the new generation iPhone SE can last up to 13 hours of video playback, 8 hours of video streaming, and up to 40 hours of audio playback. It's about the same time as iPhone 8.

The bottom line is the new Apple iPhone SE has a great advantage when it comes to Price, Camera quality and  A13 Bionic chip, and can do well with users who want Apple brand & latest features but at low prices. It comes in RED, WHITE, and BLACK in color. The price starts at $399 and is available for pre-orders in the US from April 17. Availability dates for India are not known currently.
